A key date on the social calendar, the occasion was the 10th anniversary of the Asia Polo Cup.
Great to see a whole range of fashions on display, and it was thrilling to see the polo teams from England and India in action.
I also met the superb multi award winning Italian artist Antonio Russo.
Antonio is also a music producer and his stunning abstract work is music inspired.
He’s also a friend of my other favourite artist Fabian Perez.
Coincidentally Antonio’s partner Sally Liddle was the subject of award-winning artist Fabian Perez.
Fabian first cast eyes on Sally when her art gallery hosted a VIP event.
He was so impressed by her beauty, he commissioned a series of paintings of her and flew her over to Los Angeles.
Fabian’s ‘English Rose’ collection – in reference to Sally’s blond hair and pale skin – is a step away from the Argentine artist’s usual work. Fabian is famed for his brooding figurative portraits of Latin American nightlife characters and dancers.
Fabian said: “Sally has a particular kind of European beauty, which is different from the darker, sultrier looks of my compatriots.”
Sally is shown here having spent some time shopping at the Alexandra Roman marquee!
Hoping to see her and Antonio again soon.
